Quiet Activities – Children arrive and settle in for the day, and engage in quiet activities such as construction, reading, writing, or free play.

Circle Time – Calendar, weather, message of the day, share the news, and music that incorporates song and dance.

Language Arts/Writing – The teacher reads a story relative to the week's theme and follows up with a writing activity or literacy game that reviews letter recognition, high frequency words, and each child's reflection of the story.

Transition Time - Clean up, disinfect tables, bathroom break and hand washing in preparation for snack
9:30am – 10:00am
Morning Snack Time; Walk to Outdoor Play area
10:00am – 10:45am
Outdoor Play – Balls, hula hoops, bubbles, wiffle ball, yoga, and a parachute are available for interactive games created by the teachers. We also have a sand table and playhouses within the play area.
Indoor Play (during inclement weather) - Yoga, freeze dance, musical chairs, red light, green light, a variety of aerobics.
10:45am – 11:15am
Math/Science - In Math, we focus on developing children's number sense, understanding of number relationships and operations, comparing, ordering, beginning to measure objects, and identifying geometric shapes as aligned with the New Jersey Preschool Teaching and Learning Standards. Science also brings about much investigation of living things, Earth, matter, and energy!

Art - Creativity is our goal so that each child's finished product is an original of the project. Children focus on developing fine motor skills through coloring, cutting, drawing, and manipulating Playdoh.
11:45am - 12:00pm
Transition Time - Clean up, disinfect tables, bathroom break and hand washing in preparation for lunch
12:00pm – 12:30pm

12:30pm – 1:00pm
Children work individually or within small groups with teacher to reinforce basic mathematical skills and literacy concepts that will assist child with preparation for Kindergarten.
1:00pm – 3:00pm (time will vary depending on the child's needs and parent request)
Rest Time – Children lie on rest mats and sleep to soft music. If child does not need rest or sleep, they are able to have books and puzzles on their mats and work quietly.
1:30pm - 2:00pm (for children who only rest and do not nap; Half day pickup)
Center Choice - Children engage in centers and all centers are open (technology, language, dramatic play, manipulative activities).
3:00pm – 3:30pm
